I find it amusing that when you click over to Photography/Macro/Human [link]
The first and most popular body part to photograph is the Eye. So much so, that the need to rename the catagory to Eye.
Examples:

I am intrigued because I like eyes, I think most humans are fascinated with eyes... I know I am (see my novel for how much I am fascinated by them, and that is all I am going to say on that {see icon}). I am not even surprised that there is a club for it... ~Eyes-of-infinity possibly several clubs. Sometimes when I scroll someone's DA front page I find the Friends area amusing because of how many icons have eyes staring back at me... blinking, winking, and looking. This is mine, and some other EYEcons I have found:

So what is it with our obsession with the ocular organ? I have a few ideas on the subject, one is very simple: we as artists are obsessed with the part of ourselves which is the window to what we love. It is our eyes that bring us visual art and it is our eyes that tell our minds that we like it. It is in effect love at first sight, so therefore we love our eyes because they are our tool.

I am personally obsessed with eyes, because mine are so complicated and dysfunctional at times. Look up the term Adie's Pupil or Tonic Pupil and learn what I have. It isn't fun. So let's hear it, lets discuss our obsession with eyes, and why you think it is so. If you are blind, how do you feel about it? And if so, how are you able to experience this site?

Yes, if you haven't figured it out by now, I wrote a book. So far people seem to like it and that is great news. I love all the feedback I have gotten from it thus far. Now there is a way for you to order the 6x9" Paperback for less then you would pay on Lulu.com or Amazon.com; order through me! I order it for you and ship it directly to you!

These copies are not signed, the only difference between ordering from Amazon or Lulu, is you are ordering it through me and saving on the hideous distribution costs.
* Order an unsigned copy for just $13.99 + Shipping.
* Order a signed copy for as low as $39.99 (shipping is already built into the price!)
* As always you can order it on Lulu.com or Amazon.com

Let me know if you ever have any questions. You can also download an ebook for as little as $1.99! Thanks

The book features the beautiful cover art by Meredith Dillman :iconkyrn:*kyrn

hm I thnk eyes can be stunning but often timies people don't take the time to read them. A person can learn so much about another person if they take the time to read their eyes. Sadly for me though blue and green eyes get far more attention than brown.

Tis true. Very few characters in my book have Brown eyes, but Jude does. I am working on balancing the eye colour thing.
Some people even have golden eyes.

Some have red:

I'm obsessed with eye color, I swear.

Brown eyed actors are increasing now too, Kiera Knightly, Natalie Portman, etc.....we will make a huge come back ;) I have red in the eyes in the sun and gold in some light lol. But no one realizes the different tones in brown eyes!
